The special 50-class design sets a new benchmark in helicopter performance. From the easy to adjust mechanical mixing system (MMS), the 50-class specifications realize the ideal combination of power, weight and size for R/C helicopter flight. With the carbon main rotor as a standard feature, the Caliber 5 responds the stringent performance demands of expert-level heli fliers. However the exceptional stability and control also makes it ideally suited for training. Helicopter flight shouldn’t be limited by pre-conceived assumptions, and so the 50-class helicopter steps outside these boundaries for optimal heli flight in the form of the Caliber 5!

Gel-coated carbon main rotors are included as standard. High performance rotors produce excellent stability from hovering to stunt flight and are standard equipment in the kit.

Newly designed bell-hiller seesaw head uses precision metal yoke, center hub and seesaw. Delivers the instantaneous power needed for 3D performance.

Adoption of MMS (mechanical mixing system) makes adjustment fast and easy. Adjustable pitch control with slide of servo bed allows separation of each control.

Equipped with 80cc sub fuel tank to meet the intense demands of 3D flight performance. High-efficiency and reliability of the design responds to the requests of expert fliers.

The belt used in the gear reduction system and resin main frame produce the quiet yet powerful flight typical of the Caliber.

The precision construction of the newly developed uniquely designed monocoque frame is not only easy to assemble, but also delivers the strength, durability and rigidity for high-stress 3D flight.

While maintaining the best concepts from its predecessor the Caliber 30, a number of new technological advances have been developed for the heir to the 30-class heli throne: the Caliber 3. Troublesome left/right angle adjustments are a thing of the past with the latest design innovation of the one-piece stabilizer-hiller lever unit that maintains set values once assembled. In addition, the resin shell structure of the main rotor allows ballast to be inserted into the leading edge and therefore reach the full span of the rotor. This produces more stable rotation and mild control characteristics for higher degrees of safety and balance. Also, the new boom realizes easier linkage adjustment. All of these developments enable the heli to return to its previous flight settings quickly and easily after repair and adjustment due to accidents etc. Easier to fly and easier to maintain, that’s why the Caliber 3 has set an even higher benchmark for entry-level helis.
